Happy 61st birthday to one of the greatest to ever do it, Spike Lee! The film director,producer, writer, and actor’s production company, 40 Acres and a Mule Filmworks, has produced over 35 films since 1983 including one of my favs, School Daze. The movie was one of my influences for attending an HBCU so I Had to share one of my favorite parts. Tisha Campbell killed the vocals on “Be Alone Tonight”! And who didn’t memorized this entire routine?!?
