Last night we lost a legend. John Witherspoon, aka “Pops” from the Friday film franchise, passed away at the age of 77. Also known for his roles on The Boondocks, The Wayans Show, and the film Boomerang, John was a beloved comedian and actor. Rest easy Pops.
