Singer, actress Jennifer Hudson is celebrating her 37th birthday today! We saw her rise to fame as she wowed us in 2004 on American Idol and in her roll as “Effie” in the hit musical Dreamgirls in 2006. “Spotlight“, was the first single from her self titled debut album in 2008. It was written and produced by Ne-Yo and Stargate  and peaked at number one on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, spending two consecutive weeks on top.
