A unique fusion of gospel, cinema, and live orchestration is coming to Dallas as the Black Tie Cinematic Symphony kicks off its five-city tour. This groundbreaking musical experience will take place at 8:00 PM on Friday, August 8, at the Inspiring Body of Christ Church.
Curated and conducted by visionary composer Leon Lacey, the Black Tie Cinematic Symphony offers audiences an immersive evening of live orchestral music, cinematic storytelling, and faith-filled performances. The Dallas debut features an 80-piece orchestra alongside performances from gospel icon Yolanda Adams, multi-Grammy award winner Israel Houghton, and acclaimed actress Lisa Arrindell.

The result is a sophisticated, multi-sensory event designed to captivate audiences from all walks of life.
“This performance is about merging worlds,” says Leon Lacey. “It’s where cinematic emotion meets the soul of gospel. Dallas is the perfect city to open this journey.”
The evening begins with a glamorous Black Carpet arrival, welcoming local dignitaries, celebrities, and community leaders. Guests can also explore interactive activations before the main event, making for a full night of art, music, and inspiration.
