It’s Black Women’s History Month, and today we’re shouting out three trailblazing queens who are not only changing the game, they are redefining it. These women are making powerful moves in the NFL, and it’s about time we say it loud and proud, She did that!

Let’s start with Autumn Lockwood, a name you better remember. She etched her name in history books as the first Black woman coach to win a Super Bowl, holding it down with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2024. As a strength and conditioning associate, she brings power and purpose to every rep, proving that black women belong on the sidelines and in the spotlight.

Next up is Shanice Jackson, a true game changer. As the first Black female athletic trainer ever hired by the Philadelphia Eagles, Shanice is making major strides in a space where Black women are rarely seen. Before making her mark in Philly, she sharpened her skills as a Training Camp intern with the Minnesota Vikings and held it down for 50 sports teams at Doral Academy in Florida. Talk about multitasking magic!

And don’t sleep on Jennifer King, She’s been making waves as the first Black woman with a full-time assistant coach role in the NFL. Now with the Chicago Bears as the assistant running backs coach, Jennifer is showing the world what leadership, expertise and representation truly looks like.

These women are breaking barriers, setting records and inspiring the next generation of Black excellence in sports. Their success isn’t just history, it’s HERstory.
